# Mission: Brightlands second interview and offer negotiation

## Why

I want to perform strongly in the second interview for the Brightlands Business Developer Engineering role, ask sharper interviewer-specific questions, and negotiate compensation confidently if the process advances. The point is not generic interview theory; it is to convert this specific opportunity into the best possible outcome without overstating evidence.

## Success looks like

- I can adapt my questions to Patric Machiels and Esther Adam instead of asking generic questions.
- I can explain and defend my salary expectations using the published range, my fit, and the total package.
- I can leave the interview sounding technically credible, commercially thoughtful, and honest about my boundaries.

## Constraints

- The interview is imminent, so lessons must be short, practical, and high-yield.
- All framing must stay evidence-based and consistent with the prepared Brightlands application materials.
- Dutch speaking is workable; formal written Dutch is still developing.

## Out of scope

- Broad job-search strategy unrelated to Brightlands.
- Inflated claims about licensing, fundraising, or Dutch fluency.
- Deep legal or tax advice beyond practical interview and negotiation preparation.
